URBAN RENEWAL AGENDA FOR AMERICA’S INNER CITIES
December 18, 2016
In 2017 we will be working on "The New Deal " The Urban Renewal Agenda" traveling throughout the country. Shirley Husar the CEO of UGC met with Omarosé Onee Manigault where they had a discussion about working together, on building the
URBAN RENEWAL AGENDA FOR AMERICA’S INNER CITIES.

Black middle-class are hurting in America. We are going to be working with the Trump administration, that will provide a new deal for Black America. That deal is grounded in three promises: safe communities, great education, and high-paying jobs.
Safe Communities
January 01, 2017
President-Elect Donald Trump thinks black communities in the US are "absolutely in the worst shape that they've ever been in before." And he is right we have cities like Flint Michigan. That have dirty water and uninhabitable living conditions exist in America. Cities are living a 3rd world country. In California Black people are homeless and hurting, the intercity Infrastructure displaced and American born black people need to be revived.
Trump made the comment as he rallied supporters here on September 20, 2016
As he stated "what do you have to lose" pitch to African-American voters -- few of whom attended his rally in this rural part of this battleground state.
Great Education
January 01, 2017
We support the Trump administration in building a better relationship within the Black communities regarding greater education. Student achievement gaps needed to be aggressively addressed. For example, the percentage of Blacks age 25 and older with a high school diploma or more was 72 percent in the 2000 census, compared to 85.5 percent for Whites. In addition, the percentage of Blacks with bachelor's degrees or more was 14 percent, compared to 27 percent of Whites.School funding structures that lead to under-funding and under-resourcing our neediest schools have furthered the achievement gaps. Black students deserve a quality public education, and this can only occur when we close the gaps in equity and access.
High-Paying Jobs
January 01, 2017
In October 2009, the unemployment rate peaked at 10.0 percent. That same month, unemployment was 9.2 percent for white Americans and 15.8 percent for black Americans. While unemployment then began falling for whites, the black unemployment rate rose for another five months before it started declining.
As of September 2015, the black unemployment rate was 9.2 percent, the same as the white unemployment rate from the peak of the recession.
In 2017 the Trump urban renewal agenda has and understanding of the problem, and has watched this to be a growing trend. URA will focus on improving the opportunities for having high-paying jobs.
